El arribo del huracán “Willa” puso en alerta a Coahuila.
Torreón y Monclova ya se encuentran listas para hacer frente a la lluvia copiosa que se pronostica; en el Estado se han abierto albergues para quien lo requiera.
En la Capital del Acero, donde se espera que impacte con más fuerza, están prevenidos para las intensas lluvias que caerán desde la madrugada de hoy, por lo que ya se encuentran habilitados diversos albergues, entre los que destacan hoteles, con los que se logró un convenio, para alojar a los damnificados en caso de así requerirlo.
“El viernes 24 esperamos intensas lluvias, y serán 24 horas de precipitaciones, ya tenemos listos los albergues, incluso aquí en la base de Protección Civil, hoteleros también nos ofrecieron asilo, siempre y cuando ellos tengan disponibilidad en las habitaciones para hospedar a las familias que lo necesiten”, dijo un vocero de Protección Civil.
Son los hoteles San Cristóbal, La Posta, y seis más los que lograron un convenio de colaboración con el Municipio, teniendo capacidad para alojar a más de 100 personas que pudiesen estar en riesgo por el paso de “Willa”, las cuales podrán comunicarse al teléfono de emergencias 6350808.
En la capital coahuilense el director de protección Civil, Héctor Gutiérrez Cabello, indicó que a partir de la noche de ayer, el fenómeno comenzará a tocar tierras saltillenses, por lo que desde el pasado lunes se puso en marcha un operativo de monitoreo de las zonas con más escurrimiento en la ciudad, así como también la habilitación de diversos albergues que estarán recibiendo a quien lo necesite.
“Se preveía una baja de temperatura, había información que advertía incluso de nevadas, sin embargo, no será así, por lo cual invitamos a la gente que monitoree fuentes confiables donde estaremos informando todo lo que suceda al arribo de “Willa”, y donde actualizaremos la información en tiempo real”, señaló el funcionario municipal.
