Una parte de los votantes de verdad considera que el conteo de votos puede ser injusto, pero no solo los ciudadanos ordinarios piensan así. Incluso el presidente de Estados Unidos, Donald Trump, que busca la reelección declaró abiertamente que en algunos estados del país los partidarios del candidato demócrata, Joe Biden, manipularon los resultados del voto popular a favor de este último.
Trump ya felicitó a sus partidarios por la victoria, si bien sus posibilidades de ganar parecen bastante desalentadoras. El ex vicepresidente ha participado en las presidenciales en tres ocasiones. Esta es su última posibilidad de ganar. Joe Biden es un candidato con una enorme experiencia política. El ex vicepresidente ha estado acumulándola a lo largo del último medio siglo. En comparación, la carrera política oficial de Trump comenzó solo con su elección como presidente del país en 2016. De todas formas, ambos candidatos cuentan con un enorme apoyo en la población.
Los dos están decididos a hacer todo lo necesario para salir victoriosos en esta batalla. Batalla electoral en los estados clave
En otras palabras, hay sospechas de que el presidente actual se negará a entregar las riendas a Joe Biden. Existe la posibilidad de que Donald Trump no reconozca los resultados del escrutinio. De hecho, ya ha dado los primeros pasos en esta dirección. El equipo del candidato republicano ya anunció que había presentado demandas en varios estados exigiendo que el proceso de escrutinio fuera detenido.
En particular, en su demanda exige que el conteo sea detenido en los estados de Michigan, Pensilvania y Georgia. Actualmente hay cuatro estados que deciden el futuro de estas elecciones. Se trata de Carolina del Norte, Pensilvania, Georgia y Nevada. Según los pronósticos actuales, los primeros tres se volverán rojos, mientras Nevada será el estado donde se determinará el desenlace de los comicios. Hay quienes prevén que Nevada se volverá azul, entregando, como consecuencia, la victoria a Joe Biden. Se trata solo de 6 votos electorales, pero aun así son muy importantes.Si analizamos el mapa electoral en detalle, condado por condado, veremos que la mayoría absoluta de los casos la gente en las zonas rurales vota por Trump, mientras que en las mayores zonas urbanas los votantes optan por Biden. En otras palabras, el apoyo al candidato republicano es fuerte en las zonas más conservadoras del país.

La nueva juez de la corte recientemente designada por Trump, Amy Coney Barrett, sustituyó a Ruth Bader Ginsburg, que murió este año. Ginsburg fue nombrada en 1993 por el presidente demócrata Bill Clinton.Con la muerte de Ginsburg y la designación de Barrett los republicanos fortalecieron sus posiciones en el Tribunal Supremo. Cuando Trump dice que acudirá al Tribunal Supremo entiende perfectamente que con toda probabilidad contará con el apoyo de la mayoría de los jueces. Según el jefe de la misión de observadores que representó a la OSCE, Michael Georg Link, el candidato republicano denunció fraude en el proceso electoral en Estados Unidos sin haber presentado ninguna prueba contundente.
Los expertos de la OSCE, por su parte, informaron sobre ciertas dificultades para ejercer su trabajo en los comicios presidenciales. Esto tiene que ver con el hecho de que en algunos estados la presencia de observadores internacionales está prohibida. Los expertos aconsejan que la prohibición sea retirada con tal de que la votación y el escrutinio sean más transparentes. En cualquier caso, los observadores decidieron respetar la ley y no asistieron a los colegios en dichos estados.El conteo de las últimas papeletas sigue en varios estados.
