De acuerdo con los primeros reportes de los automovilistas fueron quienes alertaron a las autoridades sobre la presencia de las plantas, que crecían en pleno camellón.
Personal de la policía, elementos de la Fiscalía estatal y Ejército se trasladaron a la zona para retirar las plantas.
Usuarios de las redes sociales reportaron que el operativo para quitar las plantas de mariguana dejó afectaciones a la circulación, ya que los uniformados ocuparon un carril de la vía.
