Emilio Saúl, de 14 años, murió ahogado al intentar salvar a Juan Pablo, su compañero de 12 años, quien previamente sufrió una descarga eléctrica al intentar sujetarse de un poste para evitar que la corriente provocada por la lluvia lo arrastrara.
El incidente ocurrió el lunes en la calle José Clemente Orozco, de la colonia Quinta Colonial, en Apodaca, NL y fue captado por una persona, quien grabó con su celular el momento en que Saúl al ver caer a su compañero trató de auxiliarlo, pero sufrió una descarga y quedó inconsciente.
En ayuda de ambos, se acercó Brandon, a quien le ocurrió algo similar… a distancia, una mujer se percató de lo sucedido y de inmediato trató de auxiliar a los menores de edad.
“Los muchachos se estaban electrocutando y tuve que asistir a ayudarlos… fue impresionante ver a los niños así, entonces al primero que saque reaccionó y se fue corriendo y se desplomó y se fue para pedir ayuda… no pude dejarlos solos, y mucha gente vio y le valió”, dijo Stefany Garza, quien precensió el incidente.
Otros testigos refieren que Emilio Saúl fue un héroe, pues ya había logrado pasar el considerable encharcamiento, pero al ver a sus dos amigos y compañeros de escuela en problemas, a causa de una descarga eléctrica, regresó para tratar de ayudarlos.
