Los coordinadores parlamentarios de Morena en Cámara de Diputados presentaron una iniciativa para reducir hasta 50% el financiamiento público de los partidos políticos.
La propuesta de reforma al artículo 41 de la Constitución Política de los Estados Unidos apunta que el financiamiento público para el sostenimiento de las actividades ordinarias de los partidos se fijará anualmente multiplicando el número total de ciudadanos inscritos en el padrón electoral por 32.5% del valor diario de la Unidad de Medida de Actualización (UMA), en vez del 65% con el que actualmente se calcula.
Al presentar la iniciativa, Tatiana Clouthier, vicecoordinadora de Morena, consideró que habrá apoyo a esta iniciativa por parte de otras bancadas por tratarse de una demanda social de largo tiempo.
“La vinculación de los partidos, gracias a la integración de redes sociales, puede ser ahora más cercana e integrar otros métodos de acercamiento a la gente para el funcionamiento ordinario (de los partidos) no estamos hablando del tiempo de campañas”, aclaró Clouthier en conferencia de prensa acompañada de Mario Delgado, el líder de Morena en San Lázaro.
Este año el Instituto Nacional Electoral (INE) determinó entregar a los partidos políticos una bolsa de recursos que ascienden a 4,728 millones de pesos para gastos ordinarios.
El cálculo del financiamiento a cada uno de los partidos políticos se define por una fórmula establecida en la Constitución en la que se determina que 30% de la bolsa total destinada a las actividades de estos grupos será de forma igualitaria y 70% se dividirá de acuerdo a la votación obtenida en la elección a diputados de mayoría relativa inmediata anterior.
