La mañana de este lunes, un hombre de 57 años falleció de un infarto en la sala de urgencias mientras esperaba ser atendido en la Clínica 27 del Instituto Mexicano del Seguro Social (IMSS) en Purísima del Rincón, Guanajuato.
Los primeros reportes señalan que el hombre, identificado como Martín, arribó al hospital minutos antes de las 7:00 horas diciendo que se sentía mal, por lo que se dirigió al módulo de urgencias. Personal del lugar le proporcionó una pastilla y le pidió que esperara, ya que se realizaba el cambio de turno.
Inmediatamente, se dirigió a las bancas ubicadas en el patio de la clínica, donde se sentó. Al notar que no se movía, los derechohabientes notificaron al personal y, al revisarlo, descubrieron que ya no tenía signos vitales.
Pidió esperar a ver a su médico: IMSS
Tras darse a conocer el deceso, el Instituto Mexicano del Seguro Socialinformó que al paciente se le ofreció la atención en el servicio de Atención Médica Continua, pero Martín declinó y prefirió ser atendido por su médico familiar.
En el transcurso, perdió el conocimiento y falleció. Asimismo, el IMSS señaló que se notificó a sus familiares y a las autoridades correspondientes.
