El Gobierno Municipal firmó un convenio con la Cámara Mexicana de la Industria de la Construcción (CMIC) en donde por cada obra pública que reciban sus socios aportan el 2 por ciento al millar para programas sociales encabezados por el Sistema para el Desarrollo Integral de la Familia.
El Presidente municipal, Enrique Rivas acompañado de su esposa Adriana Herrera Zárate recibió a los miembros del CMIC para renovar el convenio de colaboración y recibir un cheque de 366 mil 260 pesos con 67 centavos.
Durante el encuentro con los constructores el alcalde reiteró que la obra pública será para empresas locales y les pidió sumarse a la creación de una ciudad moderna con aportación de sus obras.
“La posibilidad de que juntos construyamos una ciudad moderna, en el caso de la obra pública pues sin duda alguna implica la innovación, las destrezas, el atrevernos a hacer cosas que anteriormente no se estaban llevando a cabo y que le podamos imprimir ese sello de modernidad a Nuevo Laredo”, comentó el alcalde.
Por parte de la Cámara Mexicana de la Industria de la Construcción, el presidente Jorge López López entregó el cheque a la señora Adriana Herrera Zárate quien agradeció la aportación para programas sociales dirigidos a personas de bajos recursos económicos.
“Será de gran beneficio sobretodo para aquellos grupos que son lo más vulnerables de nuestra sociedad. A nombre del Sistema Dif les doy las gracias de todo corazón”, comentó la presidenta del Sistema DIF.
En la firma de convenio estuvo presente el director del Sistema DIF, Anuar Kassim Terán, el secretario del Ayuntamiento, Raúl Cárdenas Thomae, el secretario de Obras Públicas Rubén Ramos García.
