Será al primer minuto de este viernes primero de octubre, en la Sala de Cabildo “Niños Héroes”, el momento en el que Carmen Lilia Canturosas tomará protesta como Presidenta Municipal de Nuevo Laredo para el periodo 2021-2024.
Luego de un prolongado proceso electoral, donde Carmen Lilia ratificó su victoria hasta en 7 ocasiones, iniciará esta nueva administración que ha causado mucha expectativa entre la ciudadanía de Nuevo Laredo y del propio Tamaulipas.
“Estamos listos para iniciar con el rescate de Nuevo Laredo y estamos seguros que con el trabajo de todos, convertiremos a nuestro municipio en el referente de Tamaulipas” -comentó Carmen Lilia Canturosas.
De esta manera, Carmen Lilia se convertirá en la tercera “Canturosas” en llegar a la presidencia municipal, mismos que históricamente han sido garantía de resultados en esta ciudad fronteriza, lo que hace colocar los reflectores en el trabajo que desempeñará a partir de este viernes 1 de octubre.
El evento será para un número reducido de personas, entre las cuales estarán los miembros del nuevo Cabildo, integrantes del gabinete y familiares cercanos; tomando en cuenta todas las medidas sanitarias solicitadas por las autoridades a causa de la pandemia.
