A su vez, el consejero de sanidad de la región de Lacio, Alessio D’Amato, objetó: “¿Nos encontramos en una emergencia mundial y vamos a esperar dos meses para autorizar una vacuna que ya se utiliza en muchos países incluso europeos?”
D’Amato aseveró que su región tratará de adquirir dosis adicionales de vacunas, incluida la Sputnik V, antes de que pasen los dos meses.El gobernador de la región de Véneto, Luca Zaia, compartió su opinión, y declaró que “no podemos renunciar a las oportunidades de vacunación de cualquier país”, da igual que sea Rusia o China.
