Kruse GWS Auctions, la casa de subasta, anunció que se pondrán a la venta la limosina personal, la motocicleta y una de las camionetas con remolque de Presley.
El cantante norteamericano condujo la limosina blanca Lincoln Continental de 1973 por Memphis, Tennessee. Cuenta con un viejo televisor y otras comodidades; existen fotos que muestran al “Rey del Rock n’ Roll” deteniéndose en el auto en la escena de un accidente en Memphis en 1976.
Mientras que la motocicleta Harley Davidson, modelo FLH 1200 Electra Glide de 1976, fue la última que Presley llegó a adquirir; misma que vendió 90 días antes morir en 1977, a los 42 años. La Harley se exhibe desde los años 80 en el Pioneer Auto Museum en Murdo, Dakota del Sur.
Y el tercer vehículo en venta es una de tres furgonetas GMC que Presley compró en 1967 para su hacienda Circle G Ranch en Mississippi. Dos años después, su padre, Vernon, se las vendió de vuelta al mismo concesionario, aseguró la rematadora. La camioneta ha sido completamente restaurada.
