Nuevo Laredo, Tamps.- A fin de fomentar el aprendizaje de nuevas formas de relacionarse entre hombres y mujeres desde temprana edad, este martes quedó inaugurada la segunda edición del programa Escuela Modelo de Igualdad en la primaria “Lauro Aguirre”.
En la inauguración de este proyecto promovido por el Instituto Municipal de la Mujer (Inmujer), el presidente municipal, Carlos Canturosas Villarreal, expresó sentirse muy entusiasmado de formar parte de este programa que servirá para fomentar un cambio de mentalidad, además de propiciar con ello una nueva cultura y la reconstrucción del tejido social.
“Estoy seguro de que si estas pláticas se hubieran impartido hace muchos años el mundo no sufriría la desigualdad de género. Qué bueno que ahora a través del instituto se puedan dar estas pláticas a los niños para que desde pequeños aprendan a valorarse y a tratase con respeto. Hoy sin duda damos un paso enorme al añadir el programa a esta segunda institución educativa, para poder formar una sociedad libre de violencia física y psicológica”, manifestó.
Por otra parte, Ninfa Cantú Deándar, directora del Inmujer, informó que dicho programa inició con gran éxito el año pasado en la primaria “Reyes Heroles” por lo que se decidió implementarlo en las primarias Lauro Aguirre y Enrique C. Rébsamen.
“La escuelas fueron seleccionadas en base a los polígonos donde detectamos más problemas de violencia de género. Vamos a estar trabajando con el personal docente, madres, padres y alumnado, a fin de que todos colaboremos para crear seres humanos completos y felices que sepan vivir sin violencia”, explicó.
A través de este programa se pretende trabajar por lo menos una hora por semana con cada grupo durante todo el año, lo que dará como resultado una capacitación de 150 horas a alumnos de primero a sexto, 24 horas de taller con el personal docente y 10 horas de sensibilización con madres y padres de familia, en ellos se abordarán temas como Los Derechos de los Niños y Niñas, Violencia de Género, Violencia en el Noviazgo, entre otros.
Todas las actividades y temas serán en base al Manual de Equidad emitido por la Secretaría de Educación Pública y serán impartidos por expertas en equidad del Inmujer.
En el evento estuvieron presentes María Echartea Barajas, regidora presidenta de la Comisión de Educación; Martha Elva Fernández Tovar, regidora y presidenta de la Comisión de Equidad de Género del Gobierno Municipal; Adolfo Mondragón Mass, director de Educación Municipal; Aurelio Uvalle Gallardo, jefe del centro regional de desarrollo educativo y María Irma Salinas, Directora de la Escuela Primaria “Lauro Aguirre”.
