La exdirigente del Sindicato Nacional de Trabajadores de la Educación (SNTE), Elba Esther Gordillo, fue absuelta anoche de los delitos de lavado de dinero y delincuencia organizada, por lo que ya se encuentra en libertad, informó su abogado Marco Antonio del Toro.
Durante la lectura de un comunicado hecha desde las escalinatas de la casa ubicada en Polanco, donde Gordillo era mantenida en prisión domiciliaria, Del Toro indicó que el Primer Tribunal Unitario emitió anoche la resolución, por lo que Gordillo ya se encuentra en libertad, en otra casa acompañada de familiares.
Dio a conocer que será hasta el próximo 20 de agosto cuando Gordillo ofrezca una conferencia de prensa.
De acuerdo con Del Toro, el Primer Tribunal Unitario en materia Penal de la Ciudad de México decretó el sobreseimiento de la causa penal, por lo que la maestra quedó en libertad, y agregó que la resolución le fue notificada a las 23:30 horas de la noche del martes.
Elba Esther Gordillo fue detenida el 26 de febrero de 2013 en el aeropuerto de Toluca por presunto lavado de dinero.
