El presidente municipal, Enrique Rivas explicó que este alto puntaje permitirá que se inviertan alrededor de mil 900 millones de pesos en obra pública en este 2017, enfocadas en solucionar la falta de vialidades, drenaje sanitario, agua potable, electrificación para brindar bienestar social a las familias neolaredenses.
“Una importante cantidad de obra pública estaremos llevando a cabo este 2017, muy por encima de los mil 200 millones de pesos que nosotros presentamos ante el cabildo para este rubro.
Con las obras que hará gobierno federal, gobierno del Estado y municipio durante el año, alcanzaremos obras por mil 900 millones de pesos; es un detonante para la economía de la ciudad, también viene la construcción de viviendas, la llegada de nuevas maquiladoras que son un agente económico que activa y contribuye a reforzar la economía local”, destacó Rivas Cuéllar.
Mencionó que algunos de los recursos obtenidos forman parte del Fondo de Aportaciones para el Fortalecimiento de los Municipios (FORTAMUN), Fondo para el Fortalecimiento de la Infraestructura Estatal y Municipal (Fortalece), Programa de Productos Regionales, Fondo de Aportaciones para la Infraestructura Social (FAIS), Caminos y Puentes Federales (CAPUFE) y Programa 3×1 para Migrantes.
Dentro del programa FORTAMUN, dijo que se obtuvieron 54 millones de pesos que serán utilizados para pavimentaciones en la colonia Francisco Villa, la línea de 24 pulgadas que dará beneficio al sector sur de la ciudad con mayor eficiencia en el sistema de agua, además de la ampliación y construcción de aulas de la escuela primaria de la colonia Valles de Anáhuac.
Por medio del Programa de Productos Regionales, Nuevo Laredo recibió la cantidad de 2 millones de pesos para ampliar y modificar plazas, principalmente ubicadas en el poniente de la ciudad, y para la construcción de vialidades.
Otro de los programas que logró incrementar el monto destinado para esta frontera es el Fondo de Aportaciones para la Infraestructura Social 2017 (FAIS) con un aumento de 6 millones de pesos.
Este recurso será utilizado para obras de electrificación, redes de drenaje sanitario, agua potable, red pluvial en las colonias Los Artistas, Presidentes, Américo Villarreal 1 y 4 y El Bayito, así como la construcción de un centro comunitario en la colonia El Nogal y un Parque Juvenil de Barrio en El Progreso.
En lo que respecta al Programa 3×1 para Migrantes, destinó para Nuevo Laredo la cantidad de 12 millones de pesos los cuales van dirigidos para la instalación de un comedor comunitario y un dispensario médico en la colonia El Progreso que será atendido por el Sistema DIF Nuevo Laredo a cargo de la presidenta Adriana Herrera Zarate.
Finalmente, el alcalde señaló que derivado de pláticas y gestiones, se logró obtener la suma de 10.2 millones de pesos del programa FORTALECE para la construcción de tres importantes vialidades que aún no se definen.
