Rodolfo González Morales, Gerente general de la Comisión Municipal de Agua Potable y Alcantarillado -COMAPA-, mencionó que con la operación de un módulo se podrá procesar hasta 200 litros por segundo -LPS- de agua y que el vital líquido llegue hasta las casas 100 por ciento potable.
“En un futuro se contempla tener 4 módulos con los que se pueda abastecer hasta 280 mil usuarios con 800 LPS del vital líquido, y con esto el agua que se destina desde la planta potabilizadora centro al sector norte pueda ser dirigida al sector sur de la ciudad”, destacó González Morales.
La COMAPA ha estado realizando las adecuaciones pertinentes en válvulas, equipos de captación, y el equipo del proceso de potabilización para iniciar con la operación de la planta en el tiempo ya mencionado.
“Se han estado capacitando 8 personas quienes controlarán el proceso de potabilizacion, 2 para dar mantenimiento electromecánico; quienes se encuentran realizando prácticas en la planta potabilizadora sur oriente apoyados por personal con experiencia en el manejo de químicos y equipos”, mencionó González Morales.
La planta potabilizadora Norte estará a cargo de Dolores Martínez Fuentes quien tiene 15 años de trayectoria en planta potabilizadora centro y 3 años de experiencia en el puesto.
