Hasta el momento la obra lleva un avance del 77 por ciento, se han instalado mil 158 metros lineales de tubería de PVC de 45 centímetros, se han construido 774 metros cuadrados de carpeta asfáltica, más 493 metros cuadrados de concreto hidráulico y se cambiaron los tubos de PVC para las descargas sanitarias.
“Hay que decirlo, se está construyendo un subcolector, no lo estamos reparando, el objetivo es tener instalaciones nuevas, de primer nivel, que den solución a los problemas de la ciudadanía de este sector”, dijo el alcalde.
La inversión asignada a esta obra de mil 273.10 metros lineales que beneficiará a cerca de 6 mil familias, es de 6 millones 855 mil 26 pesos.
El munícipe destacó que los trabajos concluirán a finales de febrero, si el tiempo lo permite, de acuerdo a información proporcionada por la Secretaría de Obras Públicas.
Por su parte la señora Celestina González de Jaime, con más de 50 años de vivir en el sector, expresó que gracias a la administración del alcalde Enrique Rivas, los días de encharcamientos y olores fétidos se terminarán pronto.
“Nosotros vivíamos a puertas cerradas y con pena cuando venían visitas por causa de los malos olores, sin embargo, ahora el presidente municipal nos da muchas esperanzas de que esta obra pronto acabará con este problema”, añadió.
La obra incluye reposición de tomas de agua potable, filtros, ademe metálico, pozos de visita, conexión a tubería existente, brocales y tapas de pozos de visita, reposición de descargas sanitarias, registros de albañal, pozos de abatimiento, reconstrucción de pavimento asfáltico y de concreto hidráulico.
