Aunque los Municipios de Tamaulipas cedieron el sexenio pasado el Subsidio para la Seguridad en los Municipios (Subsemun) al Estado, ahora deberán asumir el 50 por ciento del salario de los policías estatales, del gasto en hospedaje y alimentación, según una propuesta del Gobernador panista Francisco García Cabeza de Vaca para establecer el nuevo convenio entre ambos niveles de Gobierno.
En mayo del 2011, las corporaciones municipales desaparecieron luego de que sus elementos reprobaron las pruebas de confianza, por lo que el Gobierno estatal creó Fuerza Tamaulipas con policías acreditados.
La administración del ex Gobernador priista Egidio Torre absorbió el gasto de los policías estatales y por lo que los Ediles cedieron el Subsemun.
Ahora, García Cabeza de Vaca planteó a los Ayuntamientos que colaboren con el pago de los salarios de los 2 mil 900 policías estatales, que perciben 14 mil pesos al mes, por lo que el gasto total sería de 40 millones 600 mil pesos por mes.
Hasta el momento, los municipios de Tampico, Ciudad Madero y Altamira analizan firmar este contrato, mientras que Ciudad Victoria y Matamoros ya lo aceptaron.
“No lo tenemos contemplado en el presupuesto, conlleva hacer disminuciones en algunas otras partidas, esperemos (que el pago) sea a través del Estado”, declaró Édgar Ánimas, tesorero de Tampico.
La Secretaria del Ayuntamiento, Laura Ramírez, destacó que la Alcaldesa priista Magdalena Peraza está evaluando el tema y que no hay una fecha límite para su definición.
Dijo que en caso de aceptar el convenio, espera que les liberen el Subsemun.
El director jurídico de Madero, Roberto Ávalos, informó que no han firmado este acuerdo, ya que aún lo están estudiando. En situación similar se encuentra Altamira.
El Alcalde priista de Matamoros, Jesús de la Garza Díaz, dijo que ya firmó el convenio y que el Municipio cuenta con recursos para solventar este gasto cuando comience a operar esta nueva corporación.
