Lo anterior fue dado a conocer por Ricardo Vega Barrón, secretario general del Sindicato de Trabajadores de la Construcción, Excavación, Similares y Conexos de la República Mexicana (SITRACE) en Altamira, apuntando que las condiciones han sido negativas, debido al desplazamiento de la mano de obra o bien que las inversiones no han aterrizado.
Apunta que han acudido a una serie de reuniones con los representantes de los diversos organismos para trabajar de manera coordinada, que los contratos que obtengan para obras de construcción sean trabajadores de la zona que los desempeñen.
Esto, para que la mano de obra de los sindicatos locales pueda tener empleo en la etapa de edificación, pero también en el proceso de mantenimiento de las mismas.
Actualmente atraviesan una crisis, en virtud a que más del cincuenta por ciento de su plantilla está sin empleo –arriba de 800– pero, hay otras organizaciones que atraviesan por la misma situación, “cerraremos sin empleo, más de 5 mil”.
Están esperanzados a que a partir de enero las condiciones mejoren y sean favorables –dice– ya que es la propuesta del nuevo Gobierno del Estado, de atraer inversiones nacionales y extranjeras, “esperamos que las cosas se van a componer”.
Vega Barrón, llamó al Gobierno Federal a cumplir con los compromisos contraidos, principalmente dar cumplimiento a la reforma energética, que supuestamente generaría miles de empleos, pero que hasta el momento no se han registrado.
“Estamos pidiendo a los Diputados Federales, a que cumplan y gestionen proyectos a corto y mediano plazo, generando empleos necesarios para la ciudad”, finalizó
