El foro se llevó a cabo en la Escuela Primaria “Pedro José Méndez” dentro del marco del 27 aniversario de la Convención de los Derechos del Niño, aprobado por la Asamblea General de la ONU el 20 de noviembre de 1989.
“Agradezco al director Candelaria Balderas Martínez por abrirnos una vez más las puertas de nuestra vecina escuela; el DIF es y será siempre su mejor aliado”, resaltó la Presidenta de esta institución, la Señora Tony Sáenz de Almaraz.
El derecho de los niños al nacer, a las medidas de protección, a una educación digna y de calidad, a la no discriminación fueron algunos de los derechos que expresaron de viva voz los pequeños que participaron en el foro.
La titular de DIF Victoria felicitó a Rocío, Dulce, Juan Carlos, Monserrat, Diego y Fátima, a quien reconoció por su empeñó y deseos de inclusión ante su discapacidad auditiva y del lenguaje, que le impedía ser aceptada en algunas escuelas.
“Fátima, gracias por levantar la voz y no quedarnos callados y decir ¡ya basta! Tengo los mismos derechos que todos los niños, las niñas y adolescentes de esta ciudad. Sabes una cosa yo me uno a ti y sabes que no estás sola”, enfatizó.
Recalcó el compromiso de su esposo, el Presiente Municipal, Óscar Almaraz Smer y ella por fomentar el respeto de los derechos de los niños y niñas victorenses, además comentó que pronto junto al DIF Estatal que preside la Señora Mariana Gómez de García Cabeza de Vaca se sumarán a un gran proyecto en beneficio de la infancia de Victoria.
“Siéntanse muy orgulloso porque ustedes son la voz de cada uno de los niños y adolescentes de nuestra ciudad, de esta Ciudad Viva que tanto amamos”, compartió emocionada a los niños.
En la ceremonia se contó con la participación musical de niñas y niños del Coro PANNARTI.
