El objetivo es enseñar a las personas a cultivar sus propios alimentos, así como conocer los procesos de cosecha y a su vez tener el beneficio del ahorro en su economía.
El Sistema DIF en coordinación con la Dirección de Desarrollo Rural Municipal, realizará este taller el miércoles 14 de diciembre en el Centro de Desarrollo Integral No.2 (CEDIF) ubicado en Carlos Osuna y Madero, en la colonia Buenos Aires.
Verónica Vázquez, coordinadora del Programa Alimentario del Sistema DIF, comentó que el curso está pensado para todas las personas interesadas en adquirir conocimientos básicos de cultivo y que cuentan con un espacio limitado en su hogar.
“Está comprobado que los alimentos ecológicos son más sanos y nutritivos, por eso la primera dama está interesada en que las personas adquieran este tipo de conocimiento que además ayuda en la convivencia familiar”, indicó.
Las actividades iniciarán a las 10 de la mañana con una plática por parte de un ingeniero agrónomo en donde explicará el tipo de siembra en almácigo, que es una nueva técnica de agricultura para que la semilla tenga una germinación más rápida.
También se conocerán los cuidados necesarios como la preparación de la tierra, temporadas del año idóneas para cada el tipo de hortaliza, como acelga, ajo, cebolla, espinaca, frijol, tomate por mencionar algunos.
La esposa del Presidente municipal Enrique Rivas, preocupada por proteger lo más importante que es la familia, invita a los encargados de huertos comunitarios y escuelas que deseen integrarse al taller para implementar lo aprendido dentro de su entorno.
