“Esta visita a la Ciudad de México ha sido muy fructífera por el acercamiento con personas interesadas en Nuevo Laredo, sostuve pláticas con el director ejecutivo de la ANAC para valorar las situaciones a las cuales estamos sujetas las ciudades fronterizas debido al cambio de gobierno en Estados Unidos, y con el Cónsul General Carlos González Gutiérrez para tratar distintos temas binacionales.
Es importante venir a plantear temas y proyectos que tenemos contemplados como Gobierno Municipal para detonar a nuestra ciudad y buscar mejores oportunidades de desarrollo y modernidad”, destacó el alcalde.
El Presidente estuvo con Benito Neme Sastré, Director General de Caminos y Puentes Federales (CAPUFE) a fin de buscar alternativas en el cobro del (SENTRI) para poder tener la posibilidad de hacer solamente el pago por cruce y eliminar la cuota anual.
Además, de buscar alternativas y agilizar el tráfico vehicular durante la próxima temporada del cruce de paisanos, debido al cierre temporal del Puente Internacional #1 “Puerta de las Américas”.
