NUEVO LAREDO, Tam. Ante más de 35 miembros del Consejo de Instituciones de Nuevo Laredo (CINL), el presidente municipal, Carlos Canturosas Villarreal, presentó los avances más importantes que ha tenido la ciudad del cambio en los rubros de obra pública, desarrollo económico y servicios públicos.
El presidente municipal fue recibido por el presidente del consejo, Emilio Girón Fernández de Jáuregui y autoridades del organismo, a quien agradeció la invitación para dar a conocer el trabajo que se ha realizado y que se planea para este 2016.
“Nos da muchísimo gusto poder comparecer ante este consejo que es un organismo muy importante en la ciudad, hubo palabras de apoyo a la administración municipal, escuchamos nuevas solicitudes y como siempre vamos a trabajar de la mano con la sociedad civil. Reconocieron el trabajo que estamos realizando y esto nos da la confianza para seguir redoblando el paso y que en esta parte final de la administración lo hagamos de la mejor manera”, manifestó el alcalde.
En esta comparecencia, el alcalde estuvo acompañado por el secretario de Obras Públicas, Desarrollo Urbano y Medio Ambiente, Carlos de Anda Hernández, el secretario de Desarrollo Económico, Javier Solís Morales y el secretario de Servicios Públicos Primarios, Jorge Salinas Falcón, quienes dieron a conocer los avances de sus respectivas áreas.
El presidente municipal coincidió con los integrantes del CINL en que se debe de continuar reforzando la obra pública para continuar con el desarrollo ordenado de la ciudad.
Además reiteró su compromiso para insistir en la gestión ante instancias federales para acelerar la modernización de la Garita del Puente 2 que será un detonante para esta frontera que es el principal cruce de connacionales.
Por su parte, De Anda Hernández, presentó parte del plan de obra para este año, en donde destacó la creación de infraestructura educativa, ejes viales, plazas y espacios de recreación familiar e infraestructura urbana como pavimentaciones en sectores del poniente.
Por su parte, Javier Solís Morales, secretario de Desarrollo Económico, destacó la creación de más de 9 mil nuevos empleos en el 2015, el aumento en derrama económica, la instalaciones de nuevas empresas como las tres centrales de autobuses, la apertura de negocios de diferentes rubros y más de 20 millones de dólares por la expansión y aperturas de maquiladoras.
El secretario de Servicios Públicos Primarios, Jorge Salinas Falcón, también compareció ante los miembros del consejo, en donde detalló las labores de mantenimiento que se realizan en Nuevo Laredo.
