El Gobierno Municipal comprometido a trabajar desde territorio y no desde escritorio, en conjunto con la sociedad, llevó a cabo este sábado una brigada de limpieza en diversas calles de la colonia Los Olivos l.
El saneamiento de vialidades inició desde la calle Artículo 22 y continuó por la Nueva Victoria, Cuenca de Burgos, Planeación Municipal, Diploma, de la colonia Los Olivos I y la calle Canadá, de la colonia Naciones Unidas.
José Fidencio Cantú, regidor del sector y organizador del programa, señaló que esta es la primera edición, la cual se pretende desarrollar cada fin de semana e incluso entre semana.
“La finalidad de este evento es realmente que nuestra presidenta municipal y más que nada el Gobierno de Nuevo Laredo, sepa que nuestros vecinos están comprometidos por tener una mejor ciudad, porque realmente el ‘Nuevo Corazón de Tamaulipas’ nazca aquí y representar el ‘Cambio Verdadero'”, explicó Fidencio Cantú.
Por su parte, la diputada federal Ana Laura Huerta Valdovinos, quien se unió a la jornada, resaltó la importancia de unificar esfuerzos por la transformación de Nuevo Laredo.
“Cuando nos unimos los ciudadanos, el municipio, y la federación, las cosas siempre fluyen, lo que nosotros necesitamos, son calles que estén conservadas y ciudadanos que estén comprometidos y además que el gobierno haga su parte”, mencionó Huerta Valdovinos.
Mientras tanto, la ciudadana María Graciela Charles Morales, felicitó al gobierno municipal de Carmen Lilia Canturosas Villarreal por hacerlos partícipes y concientizarlos a tener sus colonias más limpias.
“Es un beneficio para nosotros mismos de que enseñemos a los niños que tienen que saber hacer las cosas desde un principio, no tirar la basura donde sea, sino en su lugar”, dijo Charles Morales.
Al final de la campaña de limpieza, se realizó una plática convocada por la diputada sobre la importancia de que las mujeres de entre 40 a 70 años se hagan exámenes de mastografía, donde además se tomaron sus datos para programarles una cita de manera gratuita.
En esta cruzada de saneamiento participaron elementos de la Secretaría de Servicios Públicos Primarios, Protección Civil y Bomberos (PCyB) y asociaciones civiles
