El Gobierno de México, mediante la Delegación Regional de Bienestar que encabeza Heriberto Cantú, continúa con la entrega de apoyos en sus diversos programas como la pensión para Adultos Mayores o de personas con discapacidad. Durante este miércoles se comenzó con la entrega de la segunda remesa de apoyos para niños y niñas hijos de madres y padres trabajadores (Estancias Infantiles), en donde más de 100 padres de familia asistieron a las oficinas del Centro Integrador de Bienestar, en el Palacio Federal, para recoger sus apoyos.
Contrario de lo que se ha comentado, el programa de Estancias Infantiles continua, con un padrón de 143 niñas y niños beneficiados en Nuevo Laredo, con la diferencia de que ahora se entrega el apoyo directamente a los padres de familia para que sean ellos quienes decidan en qué estancia enviarlos o si prefieren usar ese recurso para contratar a alguien más que los pueda cuidar.
“Sin duda este es un gran apoyo para las madres y padres trabajadores que les permite dejar a sus hijos bien cuidados. Como vemos, a diferencia de las falsas noticias que se han dicho, el programa de estancias infantiles no dejó de existir, solo se cambió para que sean las familias quienes reciban el dinero y decidan a donde enviar a sus hijos, contrario a lo que ocurría anteriormente. Y esperamos próximamente poder aceptar nuevos registros y no solo a los que ya estaban empadronados.” Comentó el Delegado Regional Heriberto Cantú.
El padrón actual fue el resultado de una depuración que se realizó a principios de año, en donde se detectaron muchos casos de beneficiarios cuyos hijos estudiaban ya en preparatoria, no vivían aquí o eran inexistentes. Fueron más de 80 bajas las que se realizaron.
