¿Se imaginan un Shazam pero de personas? Es decir, que si ustedes le toman una fotografía a una persona o son fotografiados por alguien, rápidamente den con su cuenta de Facebook, Bueno pues esta es la novedad con la que llegará la aplicación Facezam.
Resulta que Facezam es una interesante y muy tenebrosa aplicación la cual pretende terminar con la poca privacidad que nos queda y es que su promesa es poder encontrar a cualquier persona (que se encuentre registrada en Facebook) que le tomemos una foto, sin su permiso y sin ningún contratiempo podremos saber los datos básicos de esa persona gracias a la aplicación y a Facebook.
Según explica el periódico británico The Telegraph, quien pudo entrevistarse con Jack Kenyon, fundador de Facezam, la aplicación en cuanto detecte el rostro de la fotografía, la comparará con las millones de imágenes que se encuentran dentro de Facebook a la cual (Facezam) tiene acceso gracias a una herramienta especial para desarrolladores. Donde principalmente compara la imagen capturada con las fotografías de perfil de los usuarios logrando encontrar el perfil en unos cuantos segundos.
Pero no todo esta perdido, ya que Facebook no esta muy de acuerdo con esta aplicación, ya que la compañía argumenta que la Facezam no esta acatando ciertos términos y condiciones de privacidad, por lo que quieren que ajusten estos parámetros para que su aplicación pueda continuar con su lanzamiento.
Por ahora no nos queda más que aguardar al próximo 21 de marzo, fecha prometida para que llegue esta interesante aplicación a los equipos con iOS, y posteriormente a los smartphones con Android, claro si la compañía de Zuckerberg se los permite.
Con la llegada de esta nueva aplicación, seguramente algunos comenzarán a considerar cerrar sus cuentas o bien una solución igualmente practica será dejar de usar una foto de nuestra cara como fotografía de perfil —suponiendo que únicamente consulte la imagen actual o no todas nuestras fotografías públicas—.
