El Sistema DIF Tamaulipas que preside Mariana Gómez de García Cabeza de Vaca, refrendó su compromiso con las mujeres jefas de familia, firmando un convenio de colaboración con la Secretaría de Desarrollo Social para otorgar un seguro de vida a las mujeres que todos los días trabajan para sacar adelante a sus hijos y que además realizan la doble función de ser padre y madre, de tal manera que llegado el momento en que ellas falten en su familia, sus hijos puedan seguir estudiando sin necesidad de correr riesgos por la falta de recursos económicos.
Con la presencia de la Directora General Adjunta del Programa de Seguro Jefas de Familia del Gobierno Federal, se concretó un beneficio más para las familias tamaulipecas, que logrará acercar la tranquilidad a las mujeres que llevan la responsabilidad de sus hijos mediante una estrategia que otorgará beneficios económicos que ayudará a las familias que presenten alguna carencia social.
“Es a través de alianzas como la que el día de hoy realizamos desde el Sistema DIF Estatal como cumpliremos nuestra meta de posicionar una política pública de atención a la infancia, la cual desde el Gobierno del Estado y con el apoyo de mi esposo el Gobernador de Tamaulipas Francisco García Cabeza de Vaca, consolidaremos desde todas las trincheras posibles una política de asistencia social donde niñas y niños cuenten con los derechos fundamentales para su crecimiento, educación, salud, alimentación y cobijo” expresó Mariana Gómez.
En Tamaulipas actualmente más de 178 mil mujeres cuentan con este seguro, y para este año se tiene la meta de afiliar a 13 mil jefas de familia más de los 43 municipios de la entidad.
