Con tantas novedades y rediseños que han estado experimentando plataformas como Instagram y Facebook con sus usuarios, no es de asombrarse que Snapchat quiera hacer esfuerzos por reivindicar la reputación que en algún momento tuvo.
Snapchat lanzó un rediseño total basado en algunas críticas de los usuarios. Desde el principio, una de las quejas principales sobre la plataforma es la dificultad que supone encontrar nuevos contactos a los que siguen dentro de la aplicación.
Los usuarios de Android podrían comenzar a recibir primero esta actualización, seguidos de los de iOS, aunque no hay una fecha determinada para ello.
Hay que reconocer que Snapchat destacó porque trajo al mundo de las redes sociales una idea completamente innovadora, pero su interfaz nunca fue lo más atractivo, ni sencillo.
Dentro del nuevo rediseño que encontrarán los usuarios en la plataforma, estará una nueva barra de búsquedas, la cual mejorará la navegación.
De igual manera, habrá una historia en vivo global llamada “Nuestra Historia” que contará con snaps de todo el mundo, algo que quizá no sea del agrado total de los usuarios, pues antes el contenido publicado era sumamente filtrado y limitado a eventos importantes.
Con la nueva actualización será mucho más fácil navegar a través de los contenidos de las personas que sigues, y, se podrá encontrar amigos, grupos, publicaciones e historias de manera simple.
El objetivo principal de la nueva barra de búsquedas de Snapchat es la velocidad, pues solamente bastará con tocar la sección de búsqueda alojada en la parte superior de la aplicación y seleccionar la opción de mantener un chat rápido con amigos o grupos frecuentes, localizar nuevos amigos, agregar contactos rápidamente y buscar contenido.
Sin embargo, no todo es miel sobre hojuelas, pues este nuevo rediseño podría representar una nueva apertura a oportunidades de ingresos para los responsables de la aplicación, perjudicando a los usuarios, pues Snapchat podría permitir que los anunciantes paguen por la colocación patrocinada sobre los resultados de búsqueda o aparecer como sugerencias en la interfaz de búsqueda.
El lanzamiento se llevó a cabo hoy mismo para algunos usuarios Android y iOS, pero no para todos. En los próximos días todos los usuarios podrán acceder a esta nueva versión de Snapchat.
