Los trabajos iniciaron este domingo 27 de noviembre retirando el primero de ellos hasta la madrugada de este lunes, la reparación consiste en el lavado, horneado, reinsulado a estator, remplazo de rodamientos, análisis de vibraciones, desensamble y ensamble de piezas así como pintura y pruebas del buen funcionamiento del mismo.
El segundo será instalado hasta la noche del martes.
Para la compostura de los motores, la paramunicipal realiza una inversión con recursos propios de aproximadamente 360 mil pesos y se trabajará por más de 48 horas con la disposición de 24 personas entre ingenieros y personal del área de mantenimiento de COMAPA.
El gobierno municipal encabezado por el presidente Enrique Rivas Cuéllar encomendó a la Secretaría de Servicios Públicos Primarios el envió de agua potable por medio de pipas a quienes así lo solicitaran a través del número 8900-900.
En diversos puntos, la ciudad se ha visto afectada con poca presión e incluso falta de agua en algunas zonas; se espera que estos problemas queden resueltos al rededor de las 22:00 horas de hoy, 29 de Noviembre, con el restablecimiento de uno de los dos motores afectados.
La COMAPA exhorta a la ciudadanía a utilizar el agua necesaria para la higiene y evitar el lavado de carros y banquetas, además de reutilizar el vital líquido en el riego de plantas.
