Egidio Torre Cantú afirma que conjuntamente con la Presidencia de la República, se analiza designación de más Coordinadores de Seguridad PúblicaLamenta deceso de director de Investigaciones de la Policía Estatal Acreditable, así como de dos policías federales en la ciudad de Reynosa.
El Gobernador Egidio Torre Cantú reiteró que el combate a la inseguridad en Tamaulipas es frontal y sí está dando resultados, precisando que la estrategia para enfrentar a la delincuencia se ha ajustado y reforzado para atender las contingencias conforme vayan presentándose.
Al presidir en el Complejo de Seguridad la reunión del Grupo de Coordinación Tamaulipas, el mandatario estatal dijo que los últimos acontecimientos de violencia son producto de la estrategia que se viene aplicando contra los grupos delincuenciales, en coordinación con las autoridades federales.
Torre Cantú lamentó el deceso del director de Investigaciones de la Policía Estatal Acreditable, Salvador de Haro Muñoz, la noche del lunes 5 de mayo en esta ciudad capital; el fallecimiento de dos oficiales de la Policía Federal en la ciudad de Reynosa el pasado martes 29 de abril, así como lesiones a otros elementos federales.
Dijo que el combate frontal a la delincuencia en todos los rincones de Tamaulipas, está dando resultados.
Explicó que como parte del reforzamiento a la estrategia de seguridad, el viernes 2 de mayo designó al general Miguel Amado Jiménez González como coordinador de Seguridad Pública en la Zona Sur del Estado, dependiendo del Secretario de Seguridad Pública, general Arturo Gutiérrez García.
Indicó que en total coordinación con el gobierno del Presidente Enrique Peña Nieto, se está analizando la designación de más Coordinadores de Seguridad Pública para otras regiones del Estado, donde el tema de la inseguridad es complejo.
Agregó que mantiene una estrecha comunicación con el Secretario de Gobernación, Miguel Ángel Osorio Chong, para reforzar día a día la estrategia de seguridad por regiones y un ejemplo de esa coordinación es la incorporación de 200 elementos adicionales de la Policía Federal para reforzar la seguridad en Tampico.
Precisó que la Secretaría de la Defensa Nacional y la Secretaría de Marina también hacen lo suyo, de acuerdo a las estrategias que se analizan semana a semana en el Grupo de Coordinación Tamaulipas.
De hecho, confirmó que la Secretaría de Marina ha ampliado su presencia en otros seis municipios de Tamaulipas, que son Victoria, El Mante, Río Bravo, Nuevo Laredo, Valle Hermoso y Reynosa. Originalmente tenía presencia únicamente en Tampico, La Pesca de Soto la Marina, San Fernando y Matamoros.
En esta sesión ordinaria del Grupo de Coordinación Tamaulipas participaron los presidentes municipales Jesús Manuel Guerrero Gamboa, de Hidalgo y Carlos Horacio Cepeda González, de Mainero.
Participaron también Herminio Garza Palacios, Secretario General de Gobierno; el general Tomás Jaime Aguirre Cervantes, comandante de la Cuarta Región Militar; el general Pedro Felipe Gurrola Ramírez, comandante de la Octava Zona Militar; el contralmirante Ángel Alfaro Castelán, jefe de Estado Mayor de la Primera Zona Naval y el general Enrique Martínez López, comandante de la Policía Militar en Tamaulipas.
Además Ismael Quintanilla Acosta, Procurador General de Justicia del Estado; el general Arturo Gutiérrez García, Secretario de Seguridad Pública Estatal; José Said Ramírez David, Coordinador Estatal Antisecuestros; Rabindranath Juárez Mayorquín, delegado federal de la Secretaría de Gobernación; Jorge Alberto Álvarez Mendoza, delegado federal de la PGR; Alejandro de Jesús Gómez Medina, delegado federal del CISEN y el Comisario Luis Norberto Montoya Morelia, delegado de la Policía Federal en Tamaulipas, entre otros funcionarios.
