El presidente de la Federación Mexicana de Futbol, Decio de María, reconoció que el partido de este martes en el Azteca dejó en claro que será difícil de erradicar el grito de “¡puto!” de la afición.
Recordó que la FIFA puede imponer una segunda multa y escalar los castigos con el riesgo de que el Tri dispute partidos a puerta cerrada o incluso sufra pérdida de puntos.
“No es un problema fácil de resolver, hay que seguir insistiendo, hay que seguir encontrando vehículos para mandar el mensaje, más allá de la amenaza hay que hacerlo mediante un proceso de convencer a la gente”, expresó en “Radio Fórmula”.
Aclaró que no se trata de callar al público sino de que encuentren otra expresión de apoyo y júbilo que no afecte a la minoría de la población que se siente ofendida, pues aseguró que la mayoría de la gente va al futbol a pasarla bien y entona el coro de “¡eehh… puto!” sin tintes homofóbicos.
“Existe una parte de nuestra sociedad que se siente mal con este grito y creo que el futbol tiene que ser para todos”, agregó.
Además dijo que la FMF observará que en los partidos de Liga MX también se incentive para evitar estos gritos y que en caso de que se den actuarán para sancionar a los clubes.
